So I really like visiting cafes and just chilling on my day off... and I tend to have my camera with me in my bag every time I go out. For some reason though, that particular day, I didn't have Stanley with me. Must have left him at the computer table when tranferring over photos, so I ended up using my phone camera.

And even the coffee looks less appetizing when taken with a crappy phone. This was with my old xperia phone so it wasn't great at all. My current htc one isn't actually all that better (what, auto focus? I wanna do it my way!) but can be spruced up with all these other apps. Actually, xperia could have done the same, but when the original photo is bad... you just don't want to put in the effort to cover it up.

And the day when I didn't bring Stanley is the day I decided to try ZenQ for the first time. The only thing I knew about ZenQ was that it's a Taiwanese dessert place that opened at Chatswood and now at Macquarie, serving overpriced desserts.
But they had the interesting toasts which I've seen in Singapore, where it forms a box, with bread sticks, cream and fruits inside.

I have absolutely no idea how they made this, but their honey toast definitely rivals TomnTom's. They were certainly more expensive than TomnTom's, and had less cream, but more toast and much more creative in presentation.

First step is to break open the box of toast by cutting down two joining walls, pouring the maple syrup everywhere and then picking at the sticks of toasts inside before digging into the walls and floor.

One last dodgy photo. After using Stanley for so long, I'm really not used to the poor quality of phone photos... but I guess it's like a professional photographer saying he can't use compact cameras like Stanley because he's too used to the dslr.
Another funny thing I didn't notice before, my phone photos tend to be shot in portrait mode because of the way a phone is... anyway, I recently saw a friend use a Canon S100... Stanley's an S95 =( poor old boy.... but I don't plan to replace him anytime soon, he has a good many more years ahead!

I don't mind portrait photos - it's a normal part of photography. But portrait videos! That's just not on!
Have a play around with this -> http://picsart.com/android?c=fbwall&n=2
Had a friend raving about it, seems like the type of app you'd enjoy :P
